sound great

At first the speakers did not seem as impressive as the 6 x 9 speaker that I recieved from the same dealer. The magnet structure is not that huge but the tweeter is a good size and has it's own crossover. I am powering the speakers with about 25 true RMS from an ALPINE MPR-F240 amp. The speakers sound great. The speakers put out some awsome highs and mids. The lows are ok but I have heard better from a 6.5 speaker. You will not need to install another set of tweeters with these speakers but an aditional subwoffer will help with the lows. The speakers sound clear and have good volume. A lttle mre RMS might bring the speakers out more but I wouldn't feed more than 50 true RMS through them. I am very happy with the purchase. On a budget or not, you can't go wrong with these speakers.
