This is my second PA sub. Originally I had the 300 watt SVC 12". I custom built an enclosure with 1.5c/f of airspace per manufacturer recommendation, and have it bridged to a 400 watt Kenwood amp. It hits clean and hard. I'm definitely a happy buyer of PA products!

Even after months of extreme bumping with my 620 watt amp maxing out, these two ( i have 2 matching 12" planet audios 400wats) Have not blown or lost any oomph. If you are like me and this speaker is in your price range, you can not go wrong.

Used these subs to replace 2 alpine type e 12" subs. Have owned a lot of systems in my life and done many major installs with all levels of equipment. These are excellent for the money and by far the best sound I've heard yet from 200 watt rms subs. I'm currently running them on a power acoustik amp rated for 280 watts a channel rms gained down to get close to the 200 watts. Using a smaller set of 1 cu ft boxes filled with polyfill to help compensate for their larger box reccomendation. They preform beautifully. In comparison to entry lines from other companies I've heard the lowest tones are much more noticeable with excellent spl. I can't say I've ever owned a better sub for under 100$.
