HUGE sound. Unfortunately, also physically huge.Great amounts of clarity and crisp clean highs. This may be too much for some, but I tend to like a pronounced higher end. Much more lower end than I was expecting, which still isn't much, considering it is a 4", but definitely more than many other 4" speakers I've heard. Very wide dispersal from the tweeters, there is an incredibly wide sweet spot across the whole front seat area. Took a bit a wrestling and some trimming to get them into the dash panels, I didn't think to check the dimensions before buying them. These are much larger than most speakers of this diameter, nearly twice the depth of the pioneer 4" they replaced.

I got these speakers as an upgrade/replacement for some 30 year old factory speakers and they're coupled with a new high tech receiver, so I guess in the end, they really should sound great. But, that being said, they really have sounded far nicer than their price or size would lead you to believe.I ordered these speakers to fit in an old Mercedes diesel wagon - my goal was to preserve the appearance of the dash and rear cargo area as much as I could, as I didn't want my classic to look like a hacked up teenager's car. As a result, I was expecting to have speakers that sounded small and lacked bass, which was NOT how these speakers have been.Instead, the sound has been round and full from these little gems.
