I try to avoid cheaper audio gear but I took a chance on this lil guy and am quite pleased with it. It can't handle a full on assault from my sub stage amp system (764 watts, true) and it boasts a 1600watt max. But in general, after a bit of Low Pass EQ adjustments and backing off the beast of an amp its doing quite well. Surprise!Thanks!Wade

This thing hit 137.7 db in a custom port tuned box when it was actually working. I always babied it and never turned the gain past 3/4 on my 500w rms amp but it blew after 3 months. Was the best sub for the money I had ever purchased until it broke..

Well i got two of these for my 1992 4 door blazer running a kenwood head unit sony class d 1000 watt amp and a kicker zx300 also with a alpine flex-4 for mids and highs... These subs each with its own amp rocked for ten min then stopped now only playing at very low level..... I would not hook up another set of these if they were given to me for free .... Waste of time takes longer to install them then you actually get to enjoy them..... Hope i get to return these without a problem!
