All three models share the same size and footprint and all the connections are on one side making it easy to create a custom looking, clean installation. Rather than weighing you down with heavy aluminum heat sinks, Terminator amplifiers are cooled using a variable speed internal fan that is normally reserved for our highest end amplifier lines. As you turn your volume knob clockwise until you can't take it anymore, the amplifier output is increasing which engages the fan to automatically increase its speed allowing more cool air to enter the amp. This keeps the amplifier performing at its peak level longer and prevents the amplifier from having to go into thermal shutdown due to overheating. As you turn your system down to hear what your friends are saying about your system after you see them bobbing their heads to the beat and grinning from ear to ear from the back seat, the fan automatically slows down as the volume decreases. i bought this amp used and was expecting to get a amp with phisical damage IE. scratches or cracked side plastics. when i recived it which too about 3 weeks 1 week after due shipping it came in a box made from frosted flakes cereal boxes. later that day i took the amp to got get hooked up with my 2 brand new 10'' subs and when the amp was hooked up it fried my subs in a matter of seconds the car audio installer told me it had a blown power supply which i guess regulated the current given to the subs.P.S to fix the power supply it cost around $80-$120 minus install which is about another 80the customer service was terrible i had to message the guy on amazon 3 times (once a week) for weeks until he messaged me back saying that "it was strange it didnt work" luckily he decided to give me a refund

I've had this amp for about 3 months now and I must say it's amazing! NEVER gets hot, NEVER shuts off or does anything crazy! It has a fan on the top that spins as fast as hard as the subs beat (Pretty cool) The price was right and shipping was in 3 days! Simply, I love it! (:

My previous TN-250 had a bad cooling fan right out of the box. This is the main reason why I ordered this amp. Ordered another one. Hope the cooling fan works on this one!
