Although it's hard to tell in the photo, the larger terminal can be wired from one of three different sides. The smaller (rated for 2-8 gauge) terminals held my 8-gauge wire just fine, but I feel like 2-gauge wire might be too big for them.The larger (rated for 1-4 gauge) terminal just barely held my 4-gauge wire in place; the set screw that holds the wire in place is too short, and the threaded portion of the metal that holds the screw is also too short. The fact that it's just barely secure is the reason that I'm only giving it 4 stars. If I didn't also have a fuse in place right at the battery terminal (which you should always have anyway!), I wouldn't feel comfortable using this block as the feeder wire could slip out upstream of the fuses.

Was looking to run two mid-wattage car amplifiers (8 gauge acceptable instead of requiring 4 gauge) but wasn't willing to pay $120+ for a "Two Amp Wiring Kit". Instead I picked up two of these bad boys, some fuses, a single amp 4 gauge wiring kit and some 8 gauge wire. The setup works great and saved me some serious money! Mounting hardware isn't included, but I don't see that as a con.
