I installed this on my 27 foot cruiser recently. All I can say is I should have done it long ago. I added two TM6502 6.5 speakers to handle mids/highs and this sub for lows. It is all powered by a Kenwood 8405 600W amp. The 6.5's on the front channels and the sub bridged on the rear channels. The sound is awesome! I can finally hear music while running. At the dock or cove I could host a dance party. The sound is clear and full at all volumes and for all types of music. This sub pumps out way more bass then expected for its size. I had to turn it down a little so it didn't overpower me. Highly recommend!

I had this 10 inch sub installed in a case in the engine compartment of my 18 foot I/O glastron bowrider. I was a little skeptical of putting it there thinking that the sound would be drowned out, but I dint' really have any other choice with how small my boat is. But man was I wrong. This sub thumps more than I ever would have expected. The base is crisp and hits hard. The whole hull vibrates when I turn it up, and I haven't even pushed it past half power. I have it paired with an MTX 1805 5 channel marine amp. I would highly recommend this sub to anyone looking to boost the bass of their boat tunes.
