Let me begin by saying im NO expert in car audio....BUT i have been buying and installing systems in cars since 2005 now,so i feel like i @ least know what im talking about here.With that being said you can take my advice or leave it won't bother me either way,its your money.I will start by saying these subs are DURABLE.I say that because any sub you buy can say they have this and that rms wattage or this and that peak wattage,but none of that even matters if the subs ae not DURABLE enough to handle what they can get up to in pushing thruough them in wattage ya dig?These subs give you EVERY BIT of the 1,000 watts rms(thats continuous wattage for those who doint know)and can give you up to the 2,000 watts of peak wattage they say they can with the right amp.Also they are durable enough to handle the punishment of that drumming for AN EXTENDED ride without blowing the voice coils.For example,i live in southern north carolina and a drive to south eastern virginia on weekends becuase thats where i'm from originally,the entire ride home and back(4 hours each way)i have these subs(2 re sxx12s) turned up blasting being pushed by 2 amplifiers(1 for each sub)they have YET to give me any problems so they are takin a punishment there and back 4 hours each way and all week in my normal day to day driving,a few other sets of subs that i've owned in the past have blown when i pushed them on this same trip(i wont name them,dont wanna give bad publicity)but i hope this helps you all potential buyers,take care

I love RE audio and this model was perfect for my daily driver! I'm surprised at its efficiency and tonal quality. Whooomp, instead of BBBRRRRRRP.
