this thing thumps.... after it is broken in ill really turn up the boost on it and see what it really can do. but really impressed with it.. have it in sealed .75cu ft box i got off here also. have 350watts goin into it from a bridged 2 channel amp... very happy. i mostly listen to rock, country, occasional rap hip hop and it handles all music nicely

This sub is incredible I have competed in car audio competitions and always used the top brands but this 10" sub is made well and produces alot of clean clear bass. The bad part is Planet Audio tech support i don't think there is any. I can never talk to someone always answering machine. That is why I put 4 stars

I purchased this sub to replace a JL Audio 10w0 that was not a good match to my amplifier. The Amp was a competition amp that wanted to see a 1 ohm bridged load Pheonix Gold MPS 2240. I had 2 JL Audio 10w0 8ohm in a box it was ok producing around 103db. I hoped that by replacing them I could add another 5 or 6 db.With the much more flexible wiring options of this sub with its DVC, I wired each in parallel and the pair in parallel providing the 1 ohm bridged load that I needed. The results were pretty literally mind blowing. The new subs produced 112db and a bit deeper bass. Very pleased.
