FIRST IMPRESSIONSThe first impression is very promising. the amp feels very solid. it weighs 15 pounds.BRIDGE MODEthe bridge mode is not very well explained on bosses part. If you want to bridge channel 1 and 2 or 3 and 4 you should send an identical to both of their inputs. So both channel 1 and 2 or 3 and 4 should receive the same signal so they can work together to amplify it. this forces you to get a y splitter or run unnecessary rca cables from your head unit. if you want to run the unit in a 2 channel stereo mode connect the right (red) rca cable to the white input of channel 1 and to the red input of channel 2. then connect the left (white) rca to the white input of channel 3 and the red input of channel 4. either by using splitters or multiple rca cables. by doing this the bridge between channel 1 and 2 becomes the right and 3 and 4 become the left channel. The sound quality is normal, no weird noises or pops although the noise level is much higher then i would like it to be.The bass knob seemingly only works on ch3 and 4 and so does the bass boost. this can be a problem if you connect each pair of channels bridged to its own woofer or if each of the four channels has its own woofer as only some of the woofers will have bass control. the knob and bass boost seem to only work in lpf mode.the pots get easily nicked up by turning them with a screw driverim currently using the amp in my house with a 350w 12v power supply that can put out about 25 amps. the amplifier has no problem overloading the power supply. i have it currently running a dvc 4 ohm 12 mtx sub. although when the amp is bridged it seems to draw more power but does not get as loud. with a 350w power supply i can push the mtx 12 pretty hard but not to its limits. the amp gets slightly warm. the sound is clean until i pull to much power and the power supply turns off due to over current protectionI would guess this amp can put out no more then 800w rms in any case. but i think it could put out atleast 400w rms. which may not seem like a lot but is actually a large amount of power. This makes sense as its fused at 80amps and at 14.4v 80*14.4= 1152 watts of input power. if the amp is 69 percent efficiant then 1152*.69=794.88watts output before the fuse blowsI disassembled it and posted pictures with detailed descriptionsUpdate: i upgraded to 800w power supply, the amp works much better. Have the dual 4ohm mtx 12 wired in parrellel on channels 3/4 bridged. Thats 2 ohms bridged, and the amp is rated at only 4 ohm bridged. Works fine but the amp does get really warm. to the point where it is unconferatable. But thats normal as amplifiers can run up to 80 degrees C before id worry. Dims lights with the new power supply.

This is a great amp. It's not as many watts as listed but neither are the subs you are gonna push with it. I've ran 4 15" 2500 watt subwoofers through this without issue. It's a metric ton of bass. This is a good amp to run woofers through a channel or two and some loudspeakers through the other. It's worth every bit of the $100 or so I paid. Bought a second one for a friend.
