I had bought this amp because my phantom ph1500 was barley able to push my two 12 phantom 2300watt sub woofers. There was a diference in bass volume and sound but not much considering double the watts than to top off the amp only worked for three weeks than die out. I was worried about having a hasle returning but Amazon made it very easy THANKS Amazon I have decied to give this amp one more try but would not recomend to friends or family right now.

this amp is garbage the one i had i purchase from amazon it worked for about 6 month then just died has no output to my speaker it power up but no sound outputnow i going to buy a kicker this i should of done in the first plase,do not waste your moneyBoss PH3000D Phantom 3000 Watt Class D Monoblock Amplifier with Remote

Can't beat the performance this amp offers for the price. I have this amp pushing 2 15" Sony Xplods (no not the crappy walmart ones) and it draws so much power my headlights dimmed at night. Added a 2 Farad BOSS capacitor and to fix that and this thing makes my subs KICK! I have my subs running at 2 ohms right now and they bang HARD. Amp can take it without a sweat even when playing for a long time in bass intensive songs. Would suggest getting the PH4000D or PH5000D if you have the extra money though. You get a little distortion when pushing RMS and it can get kinda bad when turning it up but as long as you take that into account when choosing your amp you should have no problem.
