I purchased two sets of these speakers for my sister-in-law's Acura and I have to say I am very impressed.The woofer cone is a very ridged plastic and they have a rubber surround, giving these speakers a very solid bass response. They have a built-in High-Pass Filter for the mid-range and tweeter, so they do not distort at high volume.Excelent equipment for the cost!

Very good speakers, sound exactly the same as any low end popular brand I've purchased before. Cannot tell the difference. These speakers are 4 ohm, don't be fooled by other reviews. Check out the Pyle Audio site for better technical specifications. Everything is posted at peak watt or max power on Amazon.com so its really misleading.

My factory door speakers in my 2006 Tundra were distorted so I replaced them with these. Gotta say the yellow color drew me to them but you dont see them behind the door panel but that is ok because you all you need to do is hear them. These are perfect for getting that clear and crisp tone with almost perfect highs and mids bass drops. They wont give you that boom boom pow you are looking for with deep bass but as far as rocking out they will. Had these installed with 2 8" pioneer shallow mounts and I am getting ready to replace my rear speakers wth these!
