I have been building quality sound systems for years and decided to try two of these amps for my application because of clearance reasons. I own a 4-door truck with very little space to work with and these amps were about the right dimensions for my installation. They come with a separate bass controller that does not work too well. I truly couldn't tell the different with it connected or disconnected. I have one amp driving two high-power subs, and another driving my interior speakers, all through an equalizer. The sound is extremely clear and the bass is very responsive. One of the best features with this amp is the cable cover. You can high all of your cabling and slide your amps together to make them look like one large amp. The wire covers are removeable for easy access, but the plastic frame is a bit flemsy. My sub amp is bridged and the full range amp is not. Based on the location of the amps, there is not a lot of air circulation, but these amps have not gotten hot once. Then again, the gain levels are nominal and the subs are running at 8 ohms per. I think Boss has truly stepped their game up on this one and created a monster. Very nice amp to have at this price.

AFTER TWO DAYS OF RECEIVING THIS AMP IT BLOW ON US AS WELL AND HAD MADE A LOUD SCREECHING SOUND. NEVER AGAIN WILL I PURCHASE FROM THESE PEOPLE.
