I bought this amp in September when I leased my new Ford Edge. I had been using JL amps in my previous vehicle, but decided to leave them in there since I was selling the car to my brother and he wanted the upgraded stereo system. Since this is only a 3 year lease, I wasn't planning on getting too crazy with the audio stuff. I'm using this to drive a Kicker 10" sub and it's been great. It hits just as hard (if not harder) than my JL did. The footprint on it made it small enough for me to mount it underneath my spare tire. As is the case with any decent monoblock amplifier, just make sure you match the sub up to it well. You'll be happy.
