I purchased two of these when they were roughly half their current retail price. Had a friend build a box for them and they sound quite nice. For their size, they hit more hard enough. No one will ever hear me coming six blocks away, but inside the car it's MORE than enough bass -- I've actually shaken my rear-view mirror loose.

This 8 inch 8 ohm sub was the perfect replacement for my Yamaha 100 powered home sub that was blown. This sub moves more and replicates strong smooth bass in movies better than ever.

it was just what i thought it was a fosgate sub just needed a replacement for a stock sub in my tahoe if i wanted a real sub i would not buy fosgate or kicker
