I don't know why I keep giving P.A. products a chance. I figured I would splurge on their "nicer" component set. These speakers are VERY quiet. They are decently clear sounding - but again are very quiet speakers. I am running 60 watts RMS to them. The factory speakers in my Ridgeline blow these away. They feel cheep out of the box - lightweight and flimsy. The wire that they give you is MAYBE 16 gauge? I think I counted 8 strands of wire per side. The wire was breaking left and right on me while i was crimping things together.Spare yourself the disappointment. Save up and buy a decent Pioneer or Alpine component set...

Let me put out a disclaimer: I usually love power acoustik!!My setup:4 gauge rockford fosgate wiring throughoutpower acoustik 1200 watt (100 rms per channel @4 ohms)power acoustik 2000 watt monoblock amp (approx 600w rms)The good:good sound for $40 speakerscheapest set of components you'll findThe bad:The wiring is about 22 gauge. Extremely thinflimsy speaker basketwoofer become distorted quickly at moderate volumeAfter a week tweeter emits a screeching noise system was never turned up very loud. Only shows at certain frequencies, independent of volume.You really get what you pay for. Upon receipt of this item, I immediately noticed how thin the wiring was that was included. I installed them anyway, hoping that they would work well. They ware overrated as far as their power handling. I have a pair of 60w rms infinity speakers that are much louder. They sound rather clear.....for a week...I'm hoping that I just received a bad set. Currently contacting Power Acoustik for assistance. Hopefully this review can be updated with some positive feedback--------UPDATEContacted PA for a warranty repair. Filled out a form describing my issue and pertinent information. It seemed simple enough. A few days later, I received an email with return instructions. I was expected the standard procedure that most manufacturers go through (go to ups, pay for shipping, manufacturer ships back). Instead, they requested a $20 money order made out to "Power Acoustik", then they will send me an label to print! Unbelievable! Bad product, bad warranty. Bottom line...Don't buy.
