As I've mentioned in some of my other reviews, I'm by no means a "true audiophile", however I do consider myself as slightly more than an average user. I guess more of an intermediate music/audio lover.Anyways, for my S2000 I built a custom box to Rockford Fosgate's recommended sealed volume, and this subwoofer sounds awesome in it!It really shines all around in my opinion. I couldn't be happier.If you want to see my setup with this subwoofer you can search "termination s2000 subwoofer" on YouTube and it should be in the first two/three.All the specifications and information as to what amplifier and what not I am using can be found in the video.Overall, definitely an A+ or 5/5 stars!

Had these about two years I have the 05 model same thing but they are greykinda hard to find the right sounding box finally went with a type 1-2Q-logic ported box killer sound rap,rock,country or metal these will do cant go wrong with ROCKFORD FOSGATE I have them bridged to as 25 to life punch 150around 800 watts 4 ohm ,you need at least 300 watts each or they sound weak

So I have had kicker cvts, kicker cvrs, kenwoods, JL, and mtx subs in the last 6 years. I have to say this is probably the best as far as all around bass goes. My wife listens to country and rock and a little bit of hip hop. I really only listen to Classic rock and Rap(I know wierd combo). But it is perfect for any type of music. When I listen to Jeezy or Wayne I crank my amp up and my bass levels and this thing tickles my nose and makes my hair stand up, Then I listen to Boston or Pink Floyd and tone down the bass and this thing brings it all together. Like im listening to it live. Now if your going for just straight distorted bass thats going to piss everybody off and tear up stuff in your car then go with kicker cvr 12s or 15s. But if you are wanting some great sounding bass that complements your music but also has the ablilty to be heard a couple of blocks away....then look no further.Forgot to mention I have a Cadence 800watt amp that pushes out about 500 watts and this thing takes it like a champ. If your going to get this sub make sure you have the right amp. Make sure the RMS says its 300+ watts or you will be underpowering this sub. I also have a ported box with 1.04 cubic feet which is not enough for this sub. Im in the market for a larger box. I dont like the sound of sealed boxes. I just dont believe its healthy for a sub to be sealed in a box. So go with a ported box of 1.40 cubic feet of air space grab yourself a nice sized amp and you want be disapointed.
