Some folks were telling me that 5-channel amps were too expensive and could not give the power I needed for my sub. Wrong and wrong. I really didn't want the complexity of two amps in my trunk (4-ch + mono amp for the sub), and this one worked out great! Provides plenty of power for my Rockford P2D4-12 subwoofer and my Polk db6501 door speakers. I'm not trying to impress the neighbors with how loud this system is - maybe for that I'd need something else. But with this amp, my music is loud enough to damage an eardrum or two if I'm not careful. After working this amp HARD for about an hour, it was barely warm to the touch!

Got this as a replacement amp. This thing hits hard. More than loud enough for what I'm using it for. Remember if the mirrors ain't shaken you got taken.

I actually installed this amp on a motorcycle with 4 Polk Audio speakers and a Kicker 10" subwoofer. It's a little heavy, but man does it work! I have the gains all turned to half or less and it will still blow me away on the bike. Definitely worth the money.
