Original speaker smoked. ie COIL shorted no OHMS. dead short. STINKS, SMELLS BURNT.This speaker perfect replacement and to drive to potential got the DAYTON plate amp from parts-express.This amp is also a perfect fit for the KLH ASW 10 enclosure(1.4cu ft) ported.

This is the best sounding sub I've owmned so far. I own only one because I also have a presicion power 12. I was forced to make my rf box smaller than the recommended size because of the box that I already had. I made my box 1.75 cu ft with a vent of 1.5 x 2 11/16 long. I also cut the frequencies very low on my amp. I'd rather hear frequencies 60hz and above on speakers not enclosed in a box. If you really need to hit very low notes, give it 2.5 cu ft and a a port of 1.5(inner diameter) x 2 7/16 long. My presicion power, rated 800 watts rms, might be good for spl, but my rockford sounds a whole lot better in the sound quality department.
