If you are looking for some speakers for a boat or to use in the outdoors, keep looking!These are very tinny sounds and they start cracking when the volume is turned up half way and I only have 15 watts per channel at the time of instulation of the speakes.They are made with cheap speaker covers that will crack the first time your knee goes into them from a wave while fishing or standing next to the gunnel.I ended up purchasing Infinity Reference 612m 6.5-Inch 225-Watt High-Performance 2-Way Marine Loudspeaker. I checked most of the high rater speakers, the are the best period and you cannot beat the price on Amazon.

Perfect speakers for my application. They're small and will fit in easily into the holes in my boat. They work flawlessly when paired with an amplifier or subs. I like the fact that they are not too expensive so after having a pair put into the back of the boat I decided to spring for another set in the front. Excellent sound output and it stands up perfectly to the marine environment.
