I have 2 of these in my Mazda cx-9 being run by Rockford Fosgate 300x4. I am not sure if it needs more power but my wifes boston acoustic in her car sounds better, its missing the highs that a 2 way speaker have. it do look cool but when inside the door speaker you can really see how cool it is.If i can i would have bought the boston acoustic
