The CVLM68 is a 6.5", 8 ohm, 70 Watt RMS/140 Watt Peak, open steel basket, midrange with an accordion style surround. The frequency response is 100Hz - 7 kHz and its sensitivity is 98dB+ @ 1w/1m SPL. The mounting depth of the CVLM68 is 2.03". Product comes with a two (2) year repair/replace warranty, which covers factory defects. I have 2 of these in my car, and they sound great. The shame is, that the 2 i have, took me about 4 defective returns to get. i'm not sure if Amazon just gets all the defective ones and sells those, but it seems that way, as i have been sent a total of 4 defective speakers. Like i said in the title, they sound great, if you get lucky and are sent one that actually functions. I am very suprised in the lack of reliability from amazon on this one...i've been shopping on amazon for years now, and this is the first time i've had a biff against them. if i need any replacements for these speakers, i can assure you that it won't be from amazon...i'll find them elsewhere.
