I purchased this to replace an old cover that when open sticks out. My son and I have scraped our self on it. This is a little lager to make room for the fold away door. I think about three inches high for the cut out. It is a little light weight when not installed but, feels good once screwed in. The lower lip is longer than the top giving it better support. All around just what it should be at a great price. Two thumps up, looks good too.

This unit is super low priced and looks great on my boat. The fact that the cover folds into the unit for a flush high quality look is great! I would have paid double for this item.
