5THE REAL TRUTH
By mark yohpe
Don't listen to the other review. It's an obvious spoiler. I own this amp, and for what it is, it is excellent. Think about this: Why would a guy buy a 100 dollar amp for spl competition? Also,if you look at the fuse rating, you know what to expect as far as watts rms. Class D amps are 80% efficient, so with a 40amp fuse, 450 watts rms is expected. A person in spl competition should obviously know this before buying. If both of his amps smoked, then to be polite, he must have mis-wired something. A product like this that only has one review can look really bad if someone has it out for this company for some reason. I have had nothing but good experiences with Boss Audio, and have bought MANY of their products. This amp has plenty of power for the average system, and sounds great to boot. Class D full range amps are the future, and I think some people are, unfortunately, stuck in the past.

4great amp.
By Henry
before I bought this item I had a "4000 Watts" legacy amp, and that was the worse amp I've ever had. Then, when I got the boss PH2KD.4 I honestly didn't think it was going to hit good my two 6x9 and two 6x5 infinity, but it proved me wrong. Never thought such a small amp could be as powerful as it is for what I'm using it.... I don't know if it would work good for biggest speakers, but it does work perfect with the speakers that I have. Just one thing I didn't like which is that I can't have my speakers bridged because it would cause a distortion, specially when I put the volume up, but it still works good on the normal mode which is using the regular 4 channels

1only a 720 watt amp cant bridge it
By 123456
used 2 of these amps to run my mids in my 98 chevy blazer i do spl stereo competitions for a hobby the audio jack channels are 1 jack per speaker you can not use audio cable splitters om them and dont bridge them. basically they suck, one of them smoked out where the fuse goes but didnt blow the 40 amp fuse. the other amp blew smoke out the audio jack channels like you were smoking a cigarette. they suck
