I bought them to replace the waffle grills on my sub box that my dad gave me, just because they were cheap and the old ones had some marks. Unfortunately, they were shipped in a bag instead of a box, so they were a little bent when I got them. I ended up just using the screws and mounting clips to reattach the old ones, which are thicker and stronger metal than these. The clips are pretty strong.I'm sure these would do at least a decent job of protecting a pair of subwoofers, just bear in mind that they aren't thick metal and can bend.

These work great and they look good. I would recommend buying these for any car or truck speakers you own.

I cant compare these to any other speaker grills becase Ive never seen any other ones but they dont look cheap($40-$50 aat my local store and thats for one).They do their job and they look nice. 8 screws, 8 plastic stoppers and 2 grills is what you get. I have 10wx4 and the speaker trim is maybe a half inch bigger but it still looked good and flush with my speakers. Easy to install with a drill. Dry set the grills and stoppers first to see what ways looks best.
