obviously, i don't think submerging it is a good idea and it would be silly to think that's a possibility. i have a water resistant stereo- (marine grade)so, it can withstand some moisture, so, with the cover it can handle not only moisture but actual rain. for me, this is functioning well.

Great Marine Stereo Housing. I'm using it on my '78 Honda Goldwing with Vetter Cycle Sound. Keeps the Radio dry and it's easy to access the radio controls.

weak spring wont keep the lid UP. Its OK. Not high quality. Its an old bike I have it on, so its OK.
